I took these driving to school this morning...

Oh yea, and i wore swirly tights today.
I'm teaching myself how to play the piano. It's really fun and frustrating...so it's good for me. At least i have voice lessons under my belt so i can sight read a little...but music theory is a lot more complicated than i thought it was. It's like learning another language...so that makes it pretty awesome and scary and hard and, to me, fascinating. There's been a lot of, "oooh so that's what that little squiggly thing means. I want to use that!"
Soon i'll be able to actually write music...yay! And i won't even need the piano to do it...i can be sitting somewhere and a melody will run through my head and i'll just jot it down. That's going to be sweet.

sweet pics. and music. sweeter. i was thinking yesterday how special it is that God has blessed you with so much natural talent for music, like your voice and your memory for melody. i'm sure there is so much more underneath it all we have yet to tap. so start digging!
